OUR TEAM AND SCHOOL
Escuela Atenea is a relatively small Spanish School. We pride ourselves on being able to provide the personal touch to each of our students. This ensures that they settle in very quickly and are soon improving their Spanish language skills. There is of maximum of only 6 students in each class which means that everyone can achieve their goals.
We have three confortable classrooms and a big reception area where our students have free access to the internet or may just sit and read the newspaper.
All our teachers have a modern language degree and have all experienced the adventure of learning new languages abroad (England, Germany, France, etc.). We share these experiences with our students and, because we enjoy being with people from other cultures, we often meet with students outside of the school.
WHY ANDALUSIA? WHY HUELVA?
Everybody will have heard something about Andalusia because it is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world. 
This is because of its wonderful weather, spectacular beaches and countryside, legendary fiestas, and its charming inhabitants. The Moorish legacy of historical monuments, whitewashed houses and wonderful gardens together with the dances and music of flamenco all add to the attraction of Andalusia.
Huelva is to the west of Andalusia: between the capital Seville (just one hour away), and the Portuguese Algarve. Huelva has 150Km. of long white sandy beaches and the most important nature reserve of Europe; “Doñana National Park”. You can enjoy both mountains and beaches in the same day. Whilst the city itself (150,000 inhabitants) has everything you could wish for fun and leisure activities, it has the advantage of not being too big: it is easy to find your way around, it is secure and nothing is too far away. The beautiful beaches are only 15 minutes away from the school by bus or car. The university (15.000 students) plays an important role in the social life of Huelva.
