Escuela Atenea offers its students a variety of Spanish Courses that cover all needs. We have divided the Spanish Language Teaching into four main levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency.
On the first day of classes students take a test in order to determine which level is right for them.
Thanks to the school size we give all our students personal tuitition, which means that in all cases progress is guaranteed from the first day at Escuela Atenea. All the necessary learning material is available at the school.
This consists of 20 weekly lessons of 50 minutes each, usually in the mornings, although in the high season some lessons may be given in the afternoons. Courses start on every Monday all the year round.

These courses are specially designed for those who wish to reach an official certification in Spanish. The Spanish foreign language Degree (Diploma de español como lengua extranjera, DELE), set by the Instituto Cervantes together with the Ministry of Culture.
the DELE degree is divided into three different levels (Initial, Intermediate and Superior). Students sit the exams in Seville.
There are two examinations in May and November. Students should attend Escuela Atenea for at least four weeks in order to prepare for the DELE exams.

Another choice for our students is to have individual tuition. This is for students who want the course to be tailored exactly to their needs. It’s also possible to arrange two-to-one or three-to-one lessons.

We can also provide individual Spanish lessons at the student's home, office or hotel all along the coast (El Portil, Punta Umbría, Matalascañas, Islantilla, Ayamonte, etc.).
These courses are designed for those who are short of time and who need to speak Spanish for their work. They are based on practical situations, working with role-plays such as meetings, presentations, phone calls, etc. We will focus on the specific proffesional vocabulary that is required: business, law, medicine, marketing , etc.
These courses are 7 hours a day with one or two teachers. Breakfast and lunch are provided.
