Spanish Courses in Spain
Escuela Atenea offers its students a variety of Spanish Courses that cover all needs. According to Common European Framework of Reference, we have divided the Spanish Language Teaching into three main levels: Beginner (A1, A2), Intermediate (B1, B2) and Advanced (C1-C2).
On the first day of classes students take a test in order to determine which level is right for them.
We give all our students personal tuition, which means that in all cases progress is guaranteed from the first day at Escuela Atenea. All the necessary learning material is available at the schools.
This consists of 20 weekly lessons of 50 minutes each, usually in the mornings, although in the high season some lessons may be given in the afternoons. Courses start on every other Monday all the year round. Students with some command in Spanish could start every Monday.
We offer different levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advance. The lessons are on alternative days. Either Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays. Although we always try to meet our students’ specific needs.
Spanish Courses for DELE exams
These courses are specially designed for those who wish to reach an official certification in Spanish. The Spanish foreign language Degree (Diploma de español como lengua extranjera, DELE), set by the Instituto Cervantes together with the Ministry of Culture.
Another choice for our students is to have individual tuition. This is for students who want the course to be tailored exactly to their needs. It’s also possible to arrange two-to-one lessons.
These courses are designed for those who are short of time and who need to speak Spanish for their work. They are based on practical situations, working with role-plays such as meetings, presentations, phone calls, etc. We will focus on the specific professional vocabulary that is required: business, law, medicine, marketing , etc.
If you want to keep learning Spanish when you have returned home or you want to maintain the level that you have achieved during your time at Escuela Atenea, you can have some lessons from your home.
